弗莉玛·阿吉曼（Freema Agyeman），1979年3月20日出生于英国伦敦，父亲来自加纳，母亲是伊朗人。她在米德尔塞克斯大学学习戏剧和表演艺术，是一名演员。 2007年，因在英国科幻剧《神秘博士》及其衍生剧《火炬木小组》中扮演Martha Jones而受到关注。2007年获得英国国家电视奖最受欢迎女演员提名。此后参演了《法律与秩序：英国》、《幸存者》、《小杜丽》等电视剧。2013年出演《凯莉日记》。2015年起在Netflix剧集《超感猎杀》中饰演Amanita Caplan。2018年开始主演医疗剧《医院革命》。2022年参演电影《黑客帝国4：矩阵重启》。2023年出演电影《梦想之地》。
