简介
苏格兰演员，出生于1971年，来自苏格兰西洛锡安市的巴斯盖特镇。最广为人知的角色包括《神秘博士》中的第十任博士，《小镇疑云》中的探长Alec Hardy，《杰西卡·琼斯》中的反派Kilgrave，《哈利波特与火焰杯》中的小巴蒂·克劳奇等。 出演第十任神秘博士前，David Tennant是一位知名的戏剧演员。他1991年于苏格兰皇家音乐学院毕业后加入本地剧团。1995年离开苏格兰到伦敦发展，同年参演皇家国家剧院（Royal National Theatre）制作的《What the Butler Saw》。
